Sand Filter

Pressure sand filter is recommended for the removal of suspended & visible impurities like sand, dust particles & turbidity etc. Pressure sand filter is an ideal solution for the systems with high sediment, silt, sand, and turbidity. Our Pressure sand filter are well established in media filtration technology. Carbon Filter :
Activated carbon is recommended for the removal of chlorine, color and odor as well as reduction of COD/BOD from water, through adsorption of the compounds that cause these problems. Activated carbon filter operates through adsorption. Adsorption is directly related to the surface area of the media. This great surface furnishes a huge adsorption area for organic as well as chlorine molecules to attach themselves. This intermolecular attraction between the carbon surface and the substance that is being adsorbed can be altered by increasing the density of the carbon or by reducing the distance between the carbon surface and the substance being adsorbed.

The filtration comprises of multiple layer of sand media having different sizes & Activated Carbon media seperately & also dual media with specific gravity. As per the needs of our customers, we can offer water filters in various sizes and material (MS, FRP, SS).

Water Sofetner:

Water softening plant is recommended for the removal of calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. Calcium and magnesium are often referred to as 'hardness minerals'.  Softeners are sometimes even applied to remove iron. The softening devices are able to remove up to five milligrams per liter (5 mg/L) of dissolved iron. This help in producing soft water by strong acid cation exchange resins in sodium form, which removes calcium and magnesium ions from the water. We design a series of softeners that have counter current regeneration with up flow rate and co-current regeneration with down flow rate. These are capable of operating for longer periods at low costs.

Reverse Osmosis System :
Reverse Osmosis plant is recommended for the removal of total dissolved salts, bacteria, virus, pyrogens, and inorganic solids & heavy metals. Reverse Osmosis, also known as hyperfiltration, is the finest filtration known. This process will allow the removal of particles as small as dissolved individual ions from a solution. Reverse osmosis is used to purify water and remove ions and dissolved organic molecules. It can be used to purify fluids such as ethanol and glycol, which will pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, while rejecting other ions and contaminants from passing. The most common use for reverse osmosis is in purifying water. It is used to produce water that meets the most demanding specifications that are currently in place.

De-minerilisation Plants & Mixed Bed Units :

De-mineralisation plant is recommended for the removal of mineral salts from water by using the ion exchange process. A Typical two-bed DM Plant consists of two Pressure vessels connected in series along with its internal fittings. The first unit consists of high capacity strongly acidic cation exchange resin, which converts positive ions of salt and replaces them with hydrogen ions to form respective acids, which are absorbed in next vessel by strongly basic anion exchange resin. The water obtained by this process shows conductivity less than 20 µS / cm at 25O C and total dissolved solids less than 10 ppm.

Further high purity water can be achieved by Mixed Bed Deionisers, which are designed to produce high purity treated water. They can be used as polishing units after two bed DM Plant to obtain high purity water. Mixed Bed Deionisers are single column units, filled with strongly acidic cation and strongly basic anion exchange resins mixed together.
